What’s New in the 2023 Hyundai Elantra?
When you drive a new vehicle, you expect it to be even better than the previous year’s model. You can appreciate that Hyundai works hard to improve its models each year. The 2023 Hyundai Elantra has some changes that will make your trips more enjoyable. To begin with, you may see that the SEL Premium package has been discontinued. But never fear, because other trims have some features that you will love. The N Line now has a 10.3-inch digital gauge display. Also, the SEL Convenience package has 17-inch wheels instead of the standard 15-inch wheels that used to come with it. Plus, you can use the handy navigation system with this package as a standard feature instead of an add-on.
The Elantra N houses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 276 horsepower and 289 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
Outside of the Elantra N, the other four trims (SE, SEL, N Line, and Limited) come with either a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 147 horsepower or a 1.6-liter turbo 4-cylinder that generates 201 horsepower (found on the N Line).
On the outside, the Elantra’s design is based around sharply defined character lines, which flow from the sides to the contoured bumpers. There is a dominant bold grille in the front, and the rear is styled with sharp angles. The sportier N Line adds chrome-tipped twin exhaust, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a multi-link independent rear suspension.
Safety features include high beam assist, forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, driver attention warning, lane keeping assist, among others. Learn more about the safety features at Rusty Wallace Hyundai.
